Epiphanies

Am having dark epiphanies, light epiphanies.

This is the great final battle at the end of history. The battle predicted by the talking crosses during the Mayan's great resistance in the Yucatan. This is the great final struggle of free humanity against the slavery of the corporate agenda. This is the last stand in the jungle.

This is a cowboy movie.

Its a range war between the cowboys and the gardeners and guardians of the jungle. This is the final struggle between business-as-usual (b-a-u)and not-business-as-usual (n-b-a-u). The struggle between the Lacondon Mayans Gnosticism - their living of their vision of the Gods, Goddesses verse lunatic Pentecostal, Evangelical Christianity.

On my last full day at the Tucan Verde - Ishmael's place in the Lacondon Jungle - we went into the jungle to go fishing and to visit the cave with the tombs of his ancestors.

When we got there, the tombs had been very recently broken into. Bones were strewn across the cave floor. The grave goods had been stolen.

Ishmael knew who did it. It was an Evangelical Christian Lacondon Mayan from Nueve Palestrina.

Nueve Palestrina is the largest Lacondon Mayan pueblo. It is 100 per cent Evangelico Christian. It produces the feeble cows that go into Big Macs, Whoppers. It produces large amounts of the best marijuana in Chiapas.

The town is in the pockets of Mexican Mafia, and big corporate agro-business mafia.

Big Money in Mexico City plans on slashing a road through the jungle and building a five star hotel on a sacred lake so that all the Lacondon Mayan can become the master-of-this-worlds bitches.

The guy who broke into the tombs is all b-a-u. He sells rare animal body parts, stolen grave goods.

The dark epiphanies continue, are amplified in Guatamala.

There's the feeble cows, the played out pastures. Three percent of the population controls 70 percent of the agricultural lands. The rich, the mestizo minority have taken on the cultural, political and economic identities of North American cowboys.

When the vast majority of Guatamalans - impoverished Mayan farmers asked for the most basic land reform their government in the pocket of the rich, in the pocket of the big agro-businesses declared a war of extermination against them.

In 1982 General Jose Efrain Rios Montt, an evangelical Christian, began the most dramatic genocide on the Mayan majority. Over 400 pueblos were razed to the ground. At least 15,000 people were massacred. At least 100,000 became refugees.

The only refuge for the Mayan people was the jungle.

The head of the equivalent of the Guatamalan Drug Enforcement Agency, General Efram Castillo, an Evangelico Christian was just revealed to be the biggest lord of cocaine in Central America.

Yeshua ben Yosef was all n-b-a-u. Christianity is about making the most extreme n-b-a-u into the most extreme b-a-u, making it into the state religion of the Roman Empire, the state religion of the American Empire, the state religion of Guatamala.

When I parted with Ishmael I told him that he was my brother - that his struggle was my struggle. I told him I would return.

I will return to tell of the good news, extend the invitation and to fight for all the n.b.a.u that is in the Lacondon Mayan, and in the jungle.
